What packaging Meesho asks for
The packing rules that bind you are the ones in your Supplier Panel and Meesho’s How to package and process orders lesson, so read them before you buy in bulk. The one step we can quote from that lesson is the label: “In the ‘Ready to ship’ tab, simply download the shipping label and paste it on the package” (retrieved 4 October 2026).
We could not find a Meesho page that names a bag type or thickness, or that says whether your own logo may appear on the packaging. If you plan branded bags or tape, check the packaging policy in the panel or raise a ticket under Support first. Until then, plain bags are the choice that cannot conflict with a rule.
Our recommendation beyond the label: a self-seal courier bag that shows if it was opened, internal padding for anything embellished, and nothing loose inside the bag that can move and crease the piece. The Meesho parcel guide covers packing and handover in more detail.
Where to buy Meesho packing material
Buy from a wholesale packaging market near you if you have one, and online in bulk if you do not. Three routes, in the order we would try them:
- A local wholesale packaging market. If you already buy fabric or accessories in a wholesale market, ask whether it has a packaging row; bags, tape and pouches are sold by the hundred there, and you can see the thickness before you buy.
- IndiaMART for online wholesale. Search by exact size and thickness rather than a generic “courier bag” listing, because suppliers quote very differently for the same-sounding product.
- Amazon Business or another B2B marketplace for a small first order, to test a size before you commit to a wholesale minimum.
Poly bag sizes for Meesho: what to stock
Stock three bag sizes to start, small, medium and large, and let your own orders set the mix. One size for everything wastes bag on small items and strains the seal on big ones. Small suits jewellery, accessories and small folded garments; medium suits a kurti or a single saree; large suits lehengas and sets.
Measure your most common product folded, then buy the bag that fits it with a little room for the seal. Weigh one packed piece too: the Meesho shipping cost guide shows how weight and size move the shipping charge, and a bigger bag than the piece needs can push it up.

Use the list to ask for like-for-like quotes; we print no prices because Meesho publishes none and supplier rates move with order size.

StitchMagic’s list, 16 October 2026. Meesho publishes no material spec or price that we could cite, so compare written quotes from two or three suppliers for the same size and thickness.

Meesho packing mistakes that cause returns and damage
- A reused or overfilled bag that opens in transit; use a fresh bag the piece fits.
- A label pasted over a fold or seam that cannot be scanned; paste it flat.
- No padding on embellished work, so stones and sequins snag or crush.
- An oversized bag that lets the piece slide and arrive creased.
