You can’t generate a working AWB number yourself: the courier, the shipping platform or the airline issues it. This tool takes AWB numbers you already have and prints them as Code 128 barcode labels with the number in text underneath, for a dispatch register, a handover list or a replacement for a torn barcode.

How to print AWB labels in bulk

Paste, pick the label, print at 100%. Scan one label with your phone before printing the rest.

    One AWB per line, or the .xlsx, .csv or .txt your courier panel exported. With two columns, pick the AWB column and the caption, such as your order ID.

    A thermal roll preset, an A4 sticker sheet or a custom size in mm; bars are drawn to scale. On a part-used sheet, set “Start at label”.

    Keep “Print the value as text under the code” ticked. Print the PDF at 100% (actual size), not “fit to page”.

AWB label size, barcode type and number format

Each AWB prints as a Code 128 barcode on the label size you pick. An air-cargo AWB is 11 digits, written 000-00000000, with a check digit last (IATA).

AWB number: where it comes from and what this tool prints

The carrier or your shipping platform issues the AWB. Where you get it decides what you need this tool for.

Courier and aggregator

On Shiprocket the AWB is assigned when you click “Ship Now” and pick a courier, and bulk runs download the labels for you (Shiprocket help, Jul 2023, retrieved 4 Oct 2026). Use this tool for a barcode sheet for a register or handover list, or a torn barcode.

Marketplace orders

Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon already hand you a finished shipping label (each marketplace’s seller help, retrieved 4 Oct 2026). Don’t rebuild those: crop them to 4 × 6 in with the Meesho, Flipkart or Amazon label crop.

Air cargo

The airline issues the Master AWB under IATA rules; a forwarder’s House AWB “may or may not follow the IATA rules” (Amazon Global Selling, Aug 2022, retrieved 4 Oct 2026). This tool prints either number as Code 128, not a full airline cargo label.

The barcode won’t scan

It was probably printed with “fit to page”. Reprint at 100%.

Warning that the bars are too thin

Pick a bigger label, cut the padding, or shorten the value. At 203 dpi one dot is 0.125 mm, and the tool warns under 0.25 mm.

Labels start on a used sticker

Set “Start at label” to the first empty position.

The order ID shows instead of the AWB

In “Which column holds the code?” pick the AWB column, and set the order ID as the caption.

Some rows were skipped

The tool lists the skipped values and the reason under the preview. Fix those cells and paste again.

More than 500 numbers

The first 500 run free. Give a WhatsApp number to raise the limit to 5,000 for the visit, or split the file.
